Providing Mediation Services

Helping you work together to find solutions to your conflicts.

What is mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary process of assisted negotiations between litigants.  Mediation can either replace or augment typical litigation by giving people a chance to talk and explore resolutions to their problems in a safe environment.  The key facet of any mediation is that it helps the parties work towards a solution to best meet their individual needs.

Is it right for you?

There are many advantages to mediation that might make it the right choice for you:

  • The parties create the solution – one is not imposed upon them by the courts.
  • The resolution to the issues are tailored to the individual case.
  • Mediation is informal, with no strict rules, procedures, or outcomes.
  • Mediation is faster that dealing with the court.
  • Less expensive than full-blown litigation.
  • Private.
  • More satisfying – parties to a mediation typically report a higher satisfaction rate than those in the traditional litigation setting.

Four Things To Remember:

          Mediation is:

  • Impartial
  • Ccnfidential
  • Self-determined
  • Informal
